A lot of things in life, actually. All things in life are a matter of perspective. There are people who believe that something is possible, and there are people who believe that something is impossible, and they are both right. The best evidence is the 100 meters sprint world record. For 54 years of Olympic Games, nobody could beat 10 seconds.
It was believed that it was impossible for a human to run a hundred meters faster than 10 seconds. Then, in 1968, Jim Hines was successful. He ran faster and established a new world record that was less than 10 seconds. So, after 54 years, there was evidence that faster is possible. Guess how long it took to beat that: 14 years. Afterwards, from the next world record until the most recent one in 2009, people were able to beat the world record 16 times. In what?
Less than 23 years. So once the athletic mind changed, once the impossible became possible, in your mind, it became possible in real life. So if everything is dark, if everything is hopeless, if you feel helpless and unable to proceed, it is a brain failure, and all you need is a helpful hand to help you with your emotional wounds, with your chemical imbalance, with your psychological roadblocks.
It is all about the mindset.
